STATUS UPDATE!
We welcomed Cruz Emilio Vazquez into the world on May 27, 2012. It has been quite a whirlwind the last few months
but we're finally getting the hang of being parents, I think... We have also moved back to the great state of Texas!
Here's our boy ~

Thank you for visiting my humble project and blog site! Please check out my bloggings and stay tuned for beautiful projects to come, as soon as we can get the house cleaned up, I will be getting started! Or at least posting some photos of already completed work. I plan to post my furniture revamping project work step by step! But first, a little about me -
I moved to Chicago from the great state of Texas, almost 2 years ago, with my wonderful husband Jaime and our lynx point Siamese, Mister Jones. Fun fact: These pictures were taken in the same spot, what I like to call Food Beggars Place.

PS - a little about the first photo. It was Christmas and we desperately wanted to get our entire family in the photo, however, everyone was not very cooperative. After Lord knows how many takes, we FINALLY got Jones and Roxy to look at the camera at the same time. Then we realized the flash blew their faces out. Figuratively. Oh well!
Our new project-blog-business is all dedicated in memory of my lovely mother, Marilyn Sue. I hope to love my sweet little boy AND this project half as much as my mom loved...
